Heavily timbered inside with a wood burning stove and inglenook fireplace. Full of character and welcome families, cyclists, walkers and locals!

They brew their own beer in the old cart lodge at the rear of the pub. Their brewery has a two and half barrel capacity. They produce about 86 gallons of beer per brew. You can arrange for a tour of the brewery with the owners Nigel and Sue.

The food is home cooked using local ingredients where they can. They have a good reputation for delicious beer-battered fisha nd chips, pies and Sunday roasts. Local Red Poll Beef and Andrew’s butchered lamb are staple ingredients on the menu.
